Inspired by swarms of bacteria, birds or micro robots, I investigate particles that collectively achieve various tasks although the individual has only limited intelligence and capabilities. I aim to give insights on how primitive the particles can be to still accomplish a given task. Examples for tasks are to group up and move, rotate, transport cargo or navigate around obstacles to a destination.
