Das Seminar findet während der ersten 6 Semesterwochen statt, an 2 Stunden pro Woche. (The subject will take place during the first 6 weeks of the semester with 2 hours per week.)

The talks will be accompanied by active discussions with students.

Ziel

Das Hauptseminar soll Studenten dabei helfen, sich in die aktuellen Themen der Simulationsmethoden einzuarbeiten.

The Hauptseminar will help students to be introduced on modern topics about simulational techniques.

Voraussetzungen

Wir erwarten, dass die Teilnehmer ein grundlegendes Wissen in klassischer und statistischer Mechanik, Thermodynamik, Elektrodynamik und partiellen Differentialgleichungen haben.

We expect the participants to have basic knowledge in classical and statistical mechanics, thermodynamics, electrodynamics, and partial differential equations.

Scheinvoraussetzungen

1. Die Teilnahme an den Vorträgen ist obligatorisch.

2. Ein Vortrag und dazugehörige schriftliche Ausarbeitung.
