Revision as of 19:02, 21 October 2009

  • By car, take the A 831 towards Stuttgart-Vaihingen, following the exit Universität (shown on the map on the right). You will find "Pfaffenwaldring" branching off on your right hand side. The buildings are numbered as indicated on the large white signs on both sides of the road.
  • By train, take any train of the subway/S-Bahn line 1, 2, or 3 direction Herrenberg, Vaihingen, Filderstadt, or Flughafen and get out at stop "Universität". Take the stairs/elevator at the end of the train to get to the campus in the most quickly fashion. When you buy your ticket, tell the agent to issue the train ticket to "Stuttgart Universität" and you will save the two-zone fare from the main station to the university (about € 2.00). The taxi fare from the station to the university is about € 20.00.
  • By plane, either take the subway line 2 or 3 (roughly every 20 minutes, two-zone ticket about € 2.00) to stop "Universität" and then continue to the stairs at the head of the train, or take a taxi (about EUR 15.00).

When you already reached the campus by car or by subway, the following maps will help you to find our institute:
