Research Interests
My basic interests lie in mathematical physics, especially in advanced algorithms to handle long range interactions. I am currently working on a implementation of the electrostatic interaction for systems that are confined along one direction while remaining periodic along the other two directions. In the end, we would like to obtain a way to introduce any curved dielectric interface in a simulation and yet be able to calculate interactions with a computational complexity rather then . I am also interested in computational modeling of high-temperature superconductors as well as in solving complicated boundary value problems involving nonlinear differential equations on an unstructured grid. Recently, we have been trying to include hydrodynamic interactions in a Brownian dynamics simulation with a linear complexity as well.
