Contents
The theoretical explanation of movement by artificial self-propelled particles (SPPs) that extrude bubbles are considered. An overview of the development of the theory is provided for the specific case of hollow cones, where the main focus of the field is currently. The most accepted model is carefully examined. In particular the transfer of momentum to the fluid through bubbles that move along the inside of the cone as they grow is examined.
